On January 5, 2021, the U.S. Federal Court for the Middle District of Georgia denied Defendant GreenPath’s motion to dismiss Plaintiffs’ claims against it in a federal putative class action under Georgia’s Debt Adjustment Act and the Fair Business Practices Act.. The Court held that Plaintiffs’ interpretation on how the Georgia Debt Adjustment Act should be applied was correct. The Court’s Order can be found here.
